Spanish Colonial Collection

Our signature collection draws from 16th to 18th century Spanish Colonial Catholic art, rich with mysticism, majesty, and Marian devotion. These centuries-old treasures are thoughtfully revitalized for the faithful today.

Presented in a trilingual format: Latin, the sacred language of the Church; historical Spanish; and English. This threefold use of language symbolically reflects the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity.

Inspired by the 16th-century masterpiece “La Resurrección de Cristo” by the Royal Workshop of Lisbon (circa 1530, Lisbon, Portugal), the front of the card features breathtaking artwork that honors the glory of the Risen Christ.

Beneath the image, the Latin phrase, “Gloria tibi, Domine” (“Glory to Thee, O Lord”), is elegantly printed, drawing the heart into worship and thanksgiving.

Inside, in graceful script, the traditional Marian antiphon, Regina Cæli resounds:

“Rejoice, O Queen of Heaven, alleluia,

for He whom thou didst merit to bear, alleluia,

hath risen as He said, alleluia.
